Some moments are special and do not happen regularly. And one of such moments is Christmas celebrations. More so for Kids as they love the Feeling of Joy and gifting all around and the spirit of Santa always keeps their aspirations high.
And when one gets an opportunity to live this Christmas Spirit at the Best Mall of India ie. DLF Mall of India, then one does not say no.
A few days back I received an Invite from Mall of India to be a part of an event of Unboxing Christmas celebrations with Hamleys.
Ab aapko to pata hai kids love being at Hamleys. Even if they do not buy anything they come back happy as they have so many toys to explore there and the staff there keeps the kids busy with their new games and trials.
Na to kar hi nahi sakte the iss event ko.
So, on Sunday our Family headed towards Mall of India. We had planned to give a buffer of 1 hour between our arrival at mall and event timing as we wanted to have lunch at our Favourite restaurant Made in Punjab.
Seedha MiP gaye, had our meal and we headed towards the main Atrium. We could hear some voice on Microphone talking about the spirit of Christmas. They were coming from the event area where a huge Gift box was kept.
The box was huge enough to pack a Mahindra Scorpio in it and I was thinking shayad koi car hi ho as part of some upcoming lucky draw. But na.. That wasn’t the case.
In a few moments Ridhima Kapoor Sahni (Daughter of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and also sister of Ranbir Kapoor) emerged along with her 7 year old daughter and her husband.
The resemblance between brother sister is so stark that She looked perfect Female version of Ranbir Kapoor.
She talked about how she always believed in Santa and how Gifting is a big part of Christmas Celebrations and also how Hamleys is her goto place to buy Toys for her kids and also for gifting to kids in her family.
Bas phir kya tha… she symbolically opened the box and out came in-numerous Cartoon Characters who Danced, Played, and kept the audience busy with their moves. The smile of Gurbani’s (@TeekhiJalebi) face told me that she was happy and if she is happy, I’m automatically happy.
Then Kids wrote a letter to Santa citing their wishes for this Christmas and they were submitted at the huge Showroom of Hamleys in the same mall.
Once kids reached there then they were on their own. Picked many toys, saw what’s written on the box, how is it played and when in doubt they asked the friendly promoters of Hamleys.
While all this was happening, Ridhima Jee came over to the Hamleys Showroom and this gave Gurbani an opportunity to get checked with her.
Gurbani and Hargun picked some Educational Toys from there and we headed back to home with smile on our Lips, Twinkle in our eyes and Jingle Bells song playing in my heart.
