A few days back I received a call from Cyber Chef and they asked me if I would like to review their food.
Ab sach batau… I envy Gurgaon wale. They have so many amazing food home delivery options and that too of companies run by some super passionate people churning out great stuff.
Always wanted to order from them, magar humein West Delhi walo ko paas ke dhabe se mangwakar hi khana parrta tha.
So, as soon as I heard the offer I said YES. And after sharing my option of Non Veg, I was told that food shall be delivered next day by 1.
The Food packet arrived and with lots of control I displayed the boxes on the desk to click a few pics. Now sabse pehle to Nadru ke kebab. I have heard a lot about this starter. Have to mention that the same can become Main Course too after adding them in special gravy.
At first look, I thought its kebab made of minced Mutton because the crust and the texture looked similar…… It was only when I took my first bite that I realized it’s not mutton…. Par still tasted like mutton and the taste was amazing. Let me tell you the main ingredient in this Kashmiri Dish of Nadru ke kebab is Lotus Stem. Par pata nahi door door tak mujhe Lotus stem nahi laga, par Jo laga bahut accha laga. I would love to reorder this from Cyber Chef some time.
And then came the chance to undo the lids from Butter Chicken, Salad, Mint Sauce and also open the Parantha Packet.
I tasted a spoon of Butter chicken gravy and the taste was amazing…. Mast creamy, though not over powering the taste of Tomato gravy. And then next bite was of the parantha.
Now, have to add ki parantha bhi stand alone was great… par shayad this was cooked 2 hours + ago, it was thora motta. Normally cooking the parantha to delivery would not take more than 1 hour in Gurgaon, par hum door baithe the so it took longer than usual to reach he diner, and hence I would give them benefit of Doubt. Par Laccha parantha ki layering mast thi. I wish someday I get to relish it off the tawa.
The Pyaaz and Chutney were normal. I would want them to add kachumber salad instead of just Onions. And waise bhi Butter Chicken ke saath Onions nahi chalte.
The packing was good, if I would have paid, then it was surely value for money. The site is easy to surf and many options are available.
To give it a try and I shall order next week to try something else.
