For past many years my poison has been vodka, the strong taste of Whisky never made me enjoy its taste.
However, when I thought to give it a second chance when I received an email Invite from Black Dog Scotch Whisky for a Sunday brunch along with “WHISKY COCKTAILS”.
On the appointed day and hour I was at Social Defence Colony. Social is one concept that I love, Very relaxed, Great menu, Awesome prices and best is that they have charger points if you are working.
It was 30 of us who had collected today to see how one can make Delicious Cocktails from BlackDog Scotch Whisky
The Session was conducted by Ajay Nayyar, Brand Ambassador North India at USL Diageo. Ajay has earlier served with Oberoi Hotels and Taj group.
Ajay taught us to make 4 Awesome Cocktails namely Black Dog Happyness, Black Dog Caffeine Kick, Black Dog Berry Nice, Black Dog Blacksmith.
My favourite was “Black Dog Berry nice” as it gave a fruite flavour. Also because I also got an opportunity to make myself. 🙂
While the drinks were being prepared we were treated with Awesome Food by Social.
Drunken Dates pancake with Maple & Fiery Chooza Pops; Both were made by using Black Dog Reserve and tasted divine.
In between we had some chakhna in the form of Masala peanuts and Murukku.
It was then followed up by “Steak & Eggs with Paprika Butter” and then by the very juicy “Roast Chicken with Veggies”
Over all a Lovely afternoon by Black Dog Scotch Whisky and very informative too.
Looking forward to get hold of my bottle of Black Dog Reserve (Rs 1380 in Delhi) soon so that I can practice on my newly acquired talent.
