Many would agree that One Restaurant Brand that is headed to become a legend is The Great Kabab Factory.
Opened 20 years ago first at the Radisson MahipalPur and now with 21 of those, they are spread across the country and now even in Dhaka and Bangkok.
I have been there multiple times and in different properties too. We happened to go there again yesterday at “Radisson MahipalPur” and the Experience again was phenomenal.
The Best of Kebabs Galauti Kabab, Ajwaini Jheenga, Tandoori Chooza, Lucknawi Chaap, Peshawari Murgh Tikka, Tali Macchi. Served one by one on the table.
By the way Vegetarian option had the following ; Subz Galauti kebab, Achari paneer Tikka, Chutney waale Aloo, Khumb ki Tinkey, Rajma ki Tikki, Taaza Phallo ki chaat.
The service is so smooth and at perfect gaps so that your plate is never over crowded and it also gives your palate enough breathing space to try the next kebab and its flavours without the earlier one overlapping.
The portion Sizes are great too. The Prawn that I was served yesterday was HUGE by all standards. And yes juicy too ![]()
The kebabs are served with Small Breads like Bakarkhaani, Sheermal, Ulte Tawe ka Parantha. They not only enhance the taste of the kebab but are so tasty and with great texture that you feel like having them without Kebab Too.
Unlike other Buffet Concepts, here the Main Course is served on the table.
Yesterday we had their Dal factory (Their version of Makhni Dal), Peeli Dal, Matar paneer and Chicken Curry. I ate them all a katori bhar kar. Par avoided the Breads. Waise they have Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Pudina Parantha, laccha paranta, Laal mirch ka parantha and Hari mirch ka parantha too. Arre Haan Subz Biryani and Gosht Biryani too.
Their desserts have always been good and in the same TGKF fashion served ek ek karke. It seems they have mastered this art, or is it Science, on what to Serve and when.
Desserts mein kal they had Kesar Kulfi, Dal ka Halwa, Seviyaan, Jalebi with Rabri and yes end mein Meetha Paan and Saada Paan too.
Over all a Great Experience. At Rs 1500 ++ for Vegetarian and Rs 1800++ for Non vegetarian is perfect. And more perfect when you use the Gourmet Passport and get a Buy One get one Deal ![]()
