Har Religious Occasion ka Connection kisi food item se hota hai. Kuch special.

Jaise Holi par Gujiya (Video mein galti se Ghewar bol diya), Eid par Sevaiyan, Lohri/Gurpurab par Gurr waale/Meethe Chawal.

Aise hi Easter par Bunny aur Eggs waali Chocolate bhi hoti hai. Though Good Friday is not a festival par Good Friday has a connection with Hot Cross Buns.

It is hypothesised that the contemporary hot cross bun of Christianity originates from St Albans in England, where in 1361, Brother Thomas Rodcliffe, a 14th-century Christian monk at St Albans Abbey, developed a similar recipe called an ‘Alban Bun’ and distributed the bun to the poor on Good Friday.

The bun marks the end of the Christian season of Lent and different parts of the hot cross bun have a certain meaning, including the cross representing the crucifixion of Jesus, the spices inside signifying the spices used to embalm him at his burial and sometimes also orange peel to reflect the bitterness of his time on the cross

We have tried to check all information, however, there is a possibility that I may have overlooked that Fact. Have to be corrected for this.
