Jee this is how I will define Samay Raina.
Usually, you would not find me watching Videos/Reels/Shows with curse words, & mein Samay Raina ke show/Videos bhi nahi dekhta tha.
Par when @maisamayhoon started @indiasgotlatent I saw it acche se & was impressed for many reasons.
The Concept of the Show, Visibility & Work, many of the “LATENTS” were getting on the show, & Samay’s Quick & Intelligent humour.
It’s only during LIVE show that Quick Wit & Intelligence are displayed. And Samay had it!
After watching “India’s Got Latent”, I wanted to be part of the Live Show Recording—socha kabhi jayenge.
In Nov, I was supposed to be in Mumbai for the Swiggy IPO Success Party. Usse ek din pehle Samay ki story par dekha ki Tickets available for the recording on Nov 14th. Immediately, koshish ki par was sold out. Chalo Koi na.
Ab, I was at the Swiggy IPO Success Party, & Samay Bhai & @balrajghai Bhai walked in.
Balraj Bhai se I got connected sometime back on Instagram. I loved his interview with @vaibhavmunjal25 Bhai on Chalchitra. Bas tabhi Baat hui & ONLINE DOSTI ho gayi.
Maine Balraj Bhai ko Jhappi Paayi, Samay Bhai se haath milaya, naam bataya & told him in ek saans ki I want to come for kal ka show, par booked hai. Samay said, “Worry not, chale aao.”
Agle din Shaam 7 baje, I was there in Front of Habitat.
Jee yes yeh wohi Eposide hai, which turned out to be the LAST EPISODE OF SEASON 1.
You can see me in some Scenes, listening, laughing & in one scene “Apni Foonk se Aag ka Dhuaan urrate hue bhi”
Never knew this Episode would create itni AAAG.
I loved the Show, I loved @the.rebel.kid ka Jawab (We met again in Dec & laughed about it, that guy deserved it).
I was in New York when the Episode was published.
Subah ke 9 baje the & I was headed for work & socha raat ko dekhenge—Jab Tak raat hui Sab badal gaya tha.
Things changed for Samay uske baad, & kehte hai na, “What does not break you, makes you stronger” Bas yehi hua.
Jab Dilli mein abhi Live show hua, I was there. There to get entertained, to see Samay once more, To Support him & yes, Hassane ke saath uss din Bhai ne Rula Bhi diya.
