Last August ki baat hai,
A renowned, well-regarded, Experienced friend of mine was performing a stand-up in Saket. Maine Ticket book kar li, had never been to his live show and isi bahane Milne and Jhappi paane ka mauka bhi mil jaata.
Gurleen and I reached the venue, and we were told ki show late shuru hoga. 30 Mins mein aana.
So humne Wahi Saket Market mein Ghoomte hue Time pass karne ki sochi and uss baarish mein 2 Kulharr waali chai bhi le li.
30 Minutes ho gaye, and we were told ki aap baithiye, Comedian to nahi aaya abhi par opening act shall start soon.
Maine Darwaza Khola and it was like Khaayi hai niche.
Ground Floor ka Venue tha, and darwaza kholte hi steps shuru, Someone who would have been a bit careless would go tumbling down like Jack & Jill wala Jack.
Koi na, Hum niche utre. 30 Seats lagi thi. I told Gurleen ki yeh venue thora risky hai. Basement hai, ek hi entry-exit.
Par, we sat.
Kuch der baad ek opening act hua, very Substandard. Par hum to dost ke liye aaye the, so baithe rahe.
Ab pata chala ki dost Traffic mein fasse hai, aur abhi time lagega.

Shayad uss jagah par har tareeke ke Standup Comedians ka aana jaana laga rehta hai. So ek sajjan aur aa gaye opening act ke bahane and time pass karvane.
Behuda jokes, Behuda shabd. Ab Me and Gurleen were getting Uneasy.
Aur main ghari dekh rha tha ki agar mere dost 10 Mins mein nahi aaye, then we will leave the venue.
Tabhi ek aur sajjan aa gaye on the stage and unke Gande jokes shuru hue.
40 Ki Capacity ke hall mein 18 log the, and unme se kuch college girls.
Pehle 3 minutes mein kuch jokes unn larkiyon par maar diye bhai ne, aur baaki jokes maarna shuru kiya religion par, homosexuality par.
We were sitting in the front seat. Ab mujhe kisi ki performance achi na bhi lage par I dont leave mid-show. Artist ki izzat zaroori hai.
Par then, I had an option ki ya to Artist ki izzat rakh lu and baad mein regret karu ya phir give the artist what he deserves and walk out.
We chose the latter. Uth ke nikalne laga then unhone ek Bhadda sa Joke mere par bhi maar diya because of me exiting the Hall.
But then I kept walking, Sirriyaan charri, Uppar aaya, Khul ke saans li and we went back ghar.
