One of the best part of living in Karol Bagh was ki aas paas khaane ki bahut saari dukaane thi. Har Prakar ki and saari BEST 🙂
One shop I crossed every week and ate at least every month was @bikanervala.in
Karol Bagh ki shaan thi yeh Dukaan. You will be aware of this shop in the Intersection of Arya Samaj Road and Gurdwara Road.
Ab kahi na kahi jab bhi cross karte the, mooh mein paani aa jaata tha. Kyuki It was Mithai ki dukaan and shaam ko to Samose aur Kachori ki Special khushboo hoti thi.
Bas yehi khaate khaate hum barre ho gaye and Karol bagh se Rajouri Garden Shift ho gaye in 2000. Bas usi time Rajouri Garden mein BikanerWala ka second outlet khul gaya. Seems mere picche woh bhi yahaan aa gaya.
Tab 2 outlet the and ab Bikanerwala has 165+ Outlets spread across the country and now in Dubai and the US too 🙂
Ab yahaan 100 se zyada type ki Mithai ki variety hai. Shayad 200 se bhi zyada. Shayad 300 se bhi zyada 🙂
The Brightly Lit Mithai Counters Attract you to have a look at them, and when you do so, they invite you to taste them 🙂
And mein laalchi bacha pehle bhi Try karne ke chakkar mein 3-4 Mitahi kha jaata tha and abhi bhi same hi hu 😀
