Being a foodie in Kerala can impose you to pay 14.5 percent ‘fat tax’

Do you even remember that how many times I have shared my views regarding unnatural torture to foodies? But you just ignored me I guess. And now you have to pay tax for watering your stomach with junk food in Kerala.

The Kerala Government has introduced a “fat tax” of 14.5% on foods like burgers, pizzas and doughnuts along with other junk food in branded restaurants.

One should think about foodies who are breathing with one aim i.e. eating. Banda kamayega kya aur khayega kya? I don’t know if restaurants in Kerala can hike the price and humare khaate peete log, rote pit te log ban jaaye!

Wherein, government has already knit the net of expectations that they’ll generate INR 10 crore annually with the new tax. But this will affect us and create effect on small food joints who will hike the price and soon Kerala will become Udta Kerala for wanting more junk food at reasonable price.

Explorers like us need to make some changes in budget which we have made once for Kerala visit.

Ab mota hona padega mehanga !
