A lassi shop that has been in existence since 1920’s. Being born in a Punjabi Family I have always been a fan of Lassi and it wasn’t a big deal for me to have lassi. But when i reached the place and saw the big steel glass of lassi i was astonished. I have tried lassi’s from different places but this was something on a different level. The one I had was Kesaria Peda Lassi.  It is prepared with Malai Peda, Yoghurt, and saffron topped with Malai and nuts. The lassi was thick, creamy and rich in flavours The perfect way to beat the heat is to have a big glass of lassi and you are good to go.

After having some street food one needs to end their meal on a sweet note and to do that this is the place that you should go! They have been serving lip smacking crispiest, juiciest Jalebis made in desi ghee and piping hot and soft Gulab Jamuns since a very long time and i have been a fan of this place  Whenever i visit Amritsar i make sure I don’t go back without having their Jalebis and Gulab Jamun. Also the size of their sweets is huge compared to other places.

This place has only 2 dishes on their menu and still gains a lot of attention from everyone. The two dishes are- Paneer Bhurji and Sandwiches. The Paneer Bhurji is Scrambled Paneer prepared in a pan with lots of butter and spices. A thick paste of tomato, onions and ginger is added to pan and mixed well. It is Served with White bread and Mint Chutney and is super delicious.  The sandwiches are basically bread topped with chhole, slices of paneer, onions and tomatoes. Everything is then fried in butter and a new experience and taste altogether.

This is the perfect place for your if you also love fish as much as i do. They have good options for fish but my favorite was Sankara Fish. They have good options in Chicken as well. I tried the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Seekh Kebabs. Both were equally good.

Whenever we go to a restaurant, is the staff is nice and the owner is friendly we automatically love the place. The same was with this place, it is a small dhaba style place but is very popular. Their Mutton was finger licking good and very different from what we get here in Delhi. The flavours were consistent, the best was Mutton Tikka. They are famous for their Mutton Dishes prepared on Tawa.

One of the best Tandoori Chicken I’ve had- so juicy, soft, easy to chew and full of flavor.  Their menu is a heavenly sight. I felt like eating everything. They have a huge menu with a wide range of dishes to choose from. From Vegetarian to non- vegetarian, from chicken to fish to mutton, from Shakes to beverages. Literally everything. My personal Favorites were Tandoori Chicken, Amritsari Fish, Dal Makhani and Sweet Lassi. The prices are a bit on the high end but are totally worth every penny.

Don’t judge the place by it’s look and ambiance. The food is Amazing!
